Mrs. Anastasiya Shvets

Anastasiya Shvets spent most of her high school and college years working in children’s programs and interacting with little ones in various employment opportunities.  She moved to Oahu from California after marrying her husband in 2015 and has fallen in love with the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands since then.  With a bachelor’s degree in Childhood Development from Cal State East Bay University she started teaching preschool on the island of Oahu and has found a love for guiding small hearts in the academic arena.  She has discovered joy in sharing God’s love through singing, games, and curriculum, as she helps little ones become prepared for their academic future.

Ms.  Rachel Mannon

Rachel Mannon moved from California to Kauai before the start of this school year. She graduated from William Jessup University with her bachelor's and credential in elementary education and spent the last semester teaching fourth grade. She is so excited to be a part of the KCA family.

Mrs. Linda Hoyle

Mr. Chris Cullen

Mrs. Jennifer Plunkett

A drama queen? Perhaps not in a derogatory sense, but Jennifer Plunkett is the queen of drama at KCA. In addition to being the wife of administrator Daniel Plunkett and mother of Judah, Titus, and Darius, Jennifer also enjoys the stage: both acting on it and helping KCA students to excel on it. She believes that drama is an excellent display of God’s creativity and teaches her students to give Him the glory for their performances and talents. On the island, Jennifer has performed in the shows Cinderella as a stepsister and Willy Wonka as Mrs. Gloop for the Hawaii Children’s Theatre. She also played Viola Plume in the CCL Theatre's production of "Hope Station". She has directed 4 Christmas plays and a May Day play for KCA over the last 6 years.

She returned home, married her wonderful husband Joel, and has since been teaching and raising their two children, Judah and Angelina. She desires to serve the Lord with her life and followed His prompting to join the Kauai Christian Academy family after several years teaching in the public schools. Hosanna has experience teaching in all elementary areas, art, physical education, as well as Sunday school. She is most excited to now teach children everyday about the love of Jesus!

Mrs. Sarah Jenkins

Sarah Jenkins is the daughter of Jimmy and Terrie Johnson and had the privilege of not only growing up on Kauai, but also receiving an impactful education for twelve years at Kauai Christian Academy, class of 2011. She went on to spend her four years of undergraduate school at Columbia International University in South Carolina where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Bible and Teacher Education.
